Hello, I just had the most amazing experience with your redicare spray, and I am wondering if you can tell me anything about the properties of redicare in reference to fire ant stings.

I had four stings on the knee and one on my wrist yesterday. Usually I spray on stingaway (papaya enzyme) and it takes several days of constant application to reduce the itching, swelling, and infection. I layer the stingaway with cortisone cream in desperation. Not great but better than nothing.

Yesterday I also used redicare and the itching ended very soon. This morning the bites look more like mosquito bites than fire ant stings and they don't itch. Is this a fluke or do you know something about this? I'm wild about anything that reliably cuts the burn of a fire ant sting.

Hi Sarah,

We have heard the same thing regarding other stings like Bees, Mosquitoes etc. RediCare was originally developed, not as an insect repellant, but as a healing spray for the search and rescue teams coming back from Katrina (dogs and people). First, all the ingredients are pharmaceutical grade an in therapeutic proportions. The ingredients acting on the sting in order of priority are Karanja oil, Neeem oil, Lemongrass essential oil, Red Thyme essential oil and a very exotic peppermint oil. These all have anti-inflamatory, anti-fungal and antiseptic properties.

I personally saved my pup from a hornet bite by taking the bite myself and the combination of Tortuga serum and Redicare even amazed me.

I hope this helps and yes, RediCare is amazing!

Regards,

Mickey
